I rebranded. I refuse to buy a core membership just to change it here. I'm a self taught creative type. I have autistic traits. I live in New Jersey. I've also lived in a few other states. I live happily with the love of my life and our guinea pig, Norman Bates. I love learning about things that interest me. A LOT of things interest me. I like dark, macabre things. Anatomy, taxidermy, horror movies, insects... I also like bright, colorful things. Anything iridescent, rainbows, Shiny things. You get the idea. Plus animals, nature and food. I collect Halloween props, old toys, art toys, anything that catches my eye, really. I am also terribly guilty at enabling my husbands Godzilla collecting.

First off I re-branded some time ago. I re-branded to S.L.C. Artistry. I can't afford and will not pay for a core membership just to change my name. So here it will stay the same until circumstances change for the better. As the journal title says it's been a tough year. With no sign of letting up anytime soon. On March 31st my mother had surgery to repair an abdominal aortic aneurysm. Roughly 24 hours later she had an incredibly rare spinal stroke. She was paralyzed with no feeling from her navel down. She has regained feeling gradually. She still has no muscle control and can't walk. She also has failed kidneys and requires dialysis several
